All wins come at a good time but for the Christian County Lady Colonels, Monday’s win over Grayson County came at a really good time.

Lexie Hendrix notched a hat trick to help the Lady Colonels beat Grayson County 5-2 and pick up their first win in four games to start the season.

Christian County, which had been outscored 27-3 in their first three contests, jumped ahead 4-0 in the first half. Hendrix scored the first goal off an assist from Emma Fleming. Sarah Watkins fed Autumn Bell with a pretty pass that led to the Lady Colonels’ second goal.

Fleming got in the scoring fun when she scored from an assist from Megan Lacy.
