Ashlee Wyatt’s hat trick wasn’t enough for the Trigg County girls soccer team in Dixon on Thursday night, with a late Lady Trojan goal downing the Lady Wildcats 4-3. Trigg County slips to 4-4 with a match at Mayfield on Tuesday ahead of a big 5th-District meeting with Lyon County on Thursday.
Wyatt scored her first off an assist from DeDe Barbee, but the Lady Wildcats trailed 2-1 at the half. She struck twice more in the second half and the game was knotted at 3-3 with less than five minutes to play, before the Lady Trojans scored the winner.
Marissa Austin tallied twice for Webster County, joined on the scoresheet by Abbie Michalek and Paige Shepherd.
