A pair of Caldwell County volleyball players reached milestones on Friday as the Lady Tigers split a pair of matches at the wRECk at the Plex in Hopkinsville.

Caldwell, now 8-2, opened the event with a 25-17, 25-14 victory over Todd County Central.

The Lady Tigers then dropped a three-setter to Logan County 21-25, 25-18, 25-20.

However, junior Olivia Mitchell became just the second Lady Tiger to top 1,000 career kills in that match. Jessie Stone is the only other Caldwell player with more than 1,000 kills, recording 1,048.

Meanwhile, junior setter Kendyll Prowell topped 1,000 career set assists. She is the fifth Lady Tiger to reach that mark. Katie VanHooser holds the school record with 2,073.

Caldwell will return to Hopkinsville on Saturday for two more games, facing Marshall County at 9 a.m. and Graves County at 11 a.m.
