With the All A State Soccer Tournament coming up this weekend, the UHA Blazers began the week with their second consecutive win, and third in their last four matches. The Blazers scored early and often on their way to a 9-1 home win over Logan County Monday evening.

Less than four minutes into the match, Connor Dill put the Blazers on the board. At the 17:00 mark, UHA extended the lead to 2-0 when Tanner Thomas scored for the first time. The Blazers would add one more score before the half when Will Bryan found the net to put UHA up 3-0.

The pace of the Blazer offensive attack picked up even more in the second half. Bryan scored his second goal of the match less than four minutes into the half to make it 4-0.

The Cougars briefly slowed the Blazer momentum with a goal at the 47:00 mark to trim the lead to 4-1.

Any hope the Cougars had of a rally, however, quickly faded. At the 59:00 mark, it was Ethan Alexander scoring to push the lead out to 5-1. Over the rest of the match, Will Bryan and Tanner Thomas scored two more goals each, as the Blazers rolled on out to the final score of 9-1. Bryan finished the night with four goals, while Thomas ended up with three of his own.

The win improves UHA to 7-3. Logan County falls to 4-6.
