The Hopkinsville Tigers got a goal in the middle portion of the first half and then let their defense do the rest. The Tigers picked up a 1-0 win on the road at Calloway County. The win gave the Tigers back-to-back wins for the first time since September 5.

The only goal of the night came at the 26:00 mark as Mason Rye found the net to give the Tigers the 1-0 lead. The goal was the third of the season for the Hoptown senior.

Meanwhile, the Tiger defense was very good on the night. Hopkinsville limited Calloway County to just four shots on the night, and only one in the second half of play. Xavier Bussell was credited with three saves in goal for the Tigers.

The Tigers, on the other hand, managed to get off 18 shots for the night.

Hopkinsville improves to 9-7-1 for the season. The Tigers will return to action Thursday evening at Paducah Tilghman.
