Steven Hermosillo Records Hat Trick as Hoptown Routs Webster 10-0

Steven Hermosillo had a hat trick as Hopkinsville won for the third-straight time, routing Webster County 10-0 Monday in Dixon.

Hoptown (11-7-1) needed 25 shots to record its 10 goals. The Tigers ended the game with over 20 minutes remaining on the 10-goal mercy rule.

Welby Horn added two goals and two assists while Zach Bryant had one goal and a pair of helpers.

Tyler Greenwell tallied a goal and an assist while Jose Favela, Mason Marschand and Maxwell Bauserman each had one goal.

Mason Rye had two assists while Edwar Acosta and Ryan Lawrence each assisted on one goal.

Xavier Bussell made two saves in the net while combining with Manny Martinez to shut out Webster (3-11-1).

Hoptown is on the road again on Tuesday when it visits Trigg County.
