Austin Rager closed out his Todd County Central golf career with a 15th place finish Tuesday at the Region 3 Golf Tournament at Hidden Hills Golf Course in Tompkinsville.
Rager shot a 43 on the front nine and was solid on the back nine with a 37. His round of 80 was three strokes shy of qualifying for next week’s state golf tournament in Bowling Green.
Freshman Jase Hampton also had a solid round with a personal best score of 85.
Jordan Baer led Logan County with an 85, while Eli Forbes carded a round of 92.
Monroe County’s Trevor Isenberg took medalist honors on his home course with a 5-under par 67.
Bowling Green won the team title with 304 points, beating rival Greenwood by seven shots.
