Personal bests and a new school record were achieved by the University Heights Academy cross country team Saturday at the Greater Louisville Classic ran at Tom Sawyer State Park.
Tomas Duncan set a school record by completing the course in a time of 16:34. He finished 23rd in the race that had 407 runners. Three other runners also ran personal best times at what is one of the largest cross country meets in the state.
Walter Kunnmann ran a time of 17:53 to finish 153rd. Luke Shouse just missed breaking the 19-minute mark, finishing 276th in 19:03. Chase Hendricks finished 317th in 19:43.
Madison Central’s Conner O’Shea won the race in a time of 15:16.
