The cross country season has been tough at times for the runners who have had to run in temperatures in the upper 80s and 90s. Count Hopkinsville’s Allison Wood among the runners who are glad that normal fall weather is here.
Wood talked about overcoming the heat after a recent run at Marshall County, which is also the site of the region cross country meet. She feels like her middle mile will be the key to her region run later this month.
