After Madisonville-North Hopkins and Henderson County played out an epic 2nd-Region final on Friday night with the Maroons prevailing in a penalty kick shootout, the All-Region team was announced.
Team members are: Henderson County’s David Gonzalez, Adam Gillham, Hugo Gonzalez, Bryce Bennett and Lucas Butler; Madisonville-North Hopkins’ Luke McElroy, Jack Dodds, Dalton Daves and Alex Brooks; University Heights Academy’s William Bryan and Tanner Thomas; Hopkinsville’s Mason Rye, Tyler Greenwell, Welby Horn, Mason Marschand, Edwar Acosta and Xavier Bussell; Trigg County’s Will Jolly and Colin Stevens; Hopkins County Central’s Jesus “Chuy” Gallegos; Webster County’s Henry Portillo and Santos Portillo; and Christian County’s Benito Rubio.
