University Heights Academy’s Tomas Duncan got to run against some of the best runners in the state Saturday at the KTCCCA Meet of Champions in Lexington.
Duncan tuned up for this week’s region meet with a sixth place finish out of 451 runners. He covered the 3.1-mile course at Masterson Station Park in 16:41. Connor Hayes of Lexington Christian won the race in 15:36. The Meet of Champions is the last large unclassed invitational before the region meet Saturday at Marshall County.
