Talley Tied for 11th After Even-Par 71 at LPGA Q-Series

Round two is in the books at the LPGA Q-Series in Pinehurst, N.C.

Emma Talley shot an even-par 71 on Thursday in the second of eight rounds as she looks to earn her way onto the LPGA Tour for the 2020 season.

Talley, a former star at Caldwell County High School and the University of Alabama, is 3-under after 36 holes and in a tie for 11th place.

Two more rounds will be played this week, with the third round today and fourth round on Saturday.

Another four rounds will be played next Wednesday through Saturday, with players finishing in the top 45 at Q-Series being eligible for the LPGA Tour next season.

Talley shot a 68 on Wednesday before carding the 71 on Thursday.

Lauren Kim leads Q-Series at 8-under through 36 holes.

Talley is one of three players tied for 11th. She will tee off at 7:45 a.m. Central time on Friday.
