The Fort Campbell girls’ basketball team is in the midst of a long losing streak spanning four seasons, but the young Lady Falcons may put an end to that soon. While they didn’t get the win in Wednesday night’s season-opener against Todd County Central, their 35 points scored was the highest output in over two years.
Freshman Asia Cabili scored 10 points and was one of five Fort Campbell scorers aged 9th grade or lower. After the game, she spoke about the Lady Falcons’ offense and how practices have improved this season with a full roster.
