Lancaster Christian played the role of Grinch Saturday as they edged Heritage Christian Academy 26-25 in overtime of the Knights Christmas Classic in Smyrna, Tenn.
HCA trailed 11-4 at halftime but used a 16-9 second half run to tie the game at 25. Jenna Wiggleton continued her strong play of late by scoring seven of her team-high 11 points in the second half.
The tournament, hosted by Lancaster Christian, played two halves instead of four quarters.
Hallie Zieg added seven points, and Meredith Crunk led the Lady Warriors in rebounds (6) and assists (4).
HCA returns to the court Jan. 4 when they travel to Louisville to play KCAA foe Highlands Latin
