A second quarter scoring drought was enough to send Lyon County to their second loss in three days Saturday at the Campbellsville Holiday Classic. East Jessamine outscored the Lyons 18-8 in the second frame and held off a late rally for a 63-50 win.
Lyon County trailed 42-35 after three quarters and cut the deficit to four points with four minutes left. However, Keegan Lockhart scored 14 of his team-high 20 points in the fourth quarter to stave off the Lyon County rally.
Travis Perry led the Lyons with 25 points. Gunnar Bingham added eight points.
Lyon County returns to action Friday at Crittenden County and will play Marshall County Saturday at McCracken County’s Mustang Madness.
