Lady Colonels Fall to NewCath to Conclude FNB Holiday Bash Play

Christian County concluded play in the FNB Holiday Bash at South Warren with a 62-44 loss to Newport Central Catholic.

The Lady Colonels were outscored 37-24 in the second half after trailing by just five points at halftime.

Eniya McGee led Christian County with 13 points, and Serenity Shemwell added nine points.  The Lady Colonels were playing their fifth straight game without leading scorer Trinity McGee who suffered a knee injury Dec. 14.

Christian County (3-8) will be back in action Saturday afternoon in the Cocoa Collier Classic at Russellville against Clarksville, Tenn.
