Falcons End Losing Streak With Big Win Over Pleasant View Christian

The Fort Campbell Falcons used a solid defensive effort to end their seven game losing streak Tuesday night. The Falcons held Pleasant View Christian to under ten points in three of the four quarters on their way to a 67-31 home court win.

Early on, the game looked like it would be a tight battle. Six Falcons scored in the opening quarter as Fort Campbell took a 15-11 lead after the opening eight minutes.

The Fort Campbell defense took control of the contest in the second quarter. The Falcons held Pleasant View Christian to just five points in the quarter, as Fort Campbell moved out to a 34-16 halftime lead. Cameron Pratt scored six points in the quarter to lead the way for the Falcons.

The Falcon defense kept up the heat in the 3rd quarter. Fort Campbell limited Pleasant View to only six points in the third, as the Falcons extended the lead on out to 50-22. It was another big quarter for Cameron Pratt, who scored six more in the quarter.

Fort Campbell continued to lock down on the Pleasant View offense in the final quarter, as the Falcons flew away with the 36 point win.

Cameron Pratt topped the scoring list for the Falcons with 18 points. Ryan Pretlow was the other Falcon to reach double figures with ten points. Aaron Hall finished with 8 points, while Jeremiah Holley and Ke’Shawn Daniels had six points each.

Pleasant View was led by Cody Nall with 14 points.

With the win, the Falcons improve to 6-8 on the season.
