Trailing by 11 points midway through the third quarter, Trigg County finished their game with Union County on a 30-14 run to grab a 53-48 win over Union County in the semifinals of the Class 2A sectionals Friday.
Sophomore Khyran Vaughn scored eight points and pulled down seven rebounds in the win for the Wildcats. He says Trigg is a scrappy unit this year and doesn’t quit when the team falls behind. He says that’s the biggest key in their four-game winning streak.
