Harmon Hits for 30 as Marshals Down Caldwell 77-60

Marshall County ran out to a 17-7 lead after one quarter and led 37-23 at halftime on the way to a 77-60 victory over Caldwell County Monday on Senior Night in Draffenville.

The Tigers (9-11) played much better in the second half, but could not overcome the first-half deficit.

Marshall junior Zion Harmon dumped in 30 points to lead the home team.

Tyler Stokes had 16 points and Tyler Powell had 15 for the Marshals, who are now 13-9.

Jamarius Blaine scored 15 points to lead Caldwell, which was outscored just 40-37 in the second half.

The Tigers also got 12 points from Tripp Branch, who missed the last two games with an ankle injury, and 11 from Adarius Riley.

Caldwell is on the road again on Tuesday when it visits Webster County (18-2).
