After losing to Panama 45-41 in their first game, Ladd’s 16U team defeated Coahuila (Mexico) 66-0 on the second day.

Ladd was one of two Kentuckians on the 16U roster, joining Metcalfe County lineman Tanner Jessie.

While not a Dallas Cowboys fan, Ladd came away impressed with the venue known as ‘Jerry World’ and the chance to play at the home of the Cowboys.

The USA 16U team was coached by Freddie Biletnikoff Jr., the son of former Oakland Raider Hall of Fame player Fred Biletnikoff.

Past players in the International Bowl include Kansas City Chiefs defensive back Tyrann Mathieu, Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley, and Ohio State defensive end Chase Young.
