The basketball folks in the Big East may be just starting to see what many of us in Western Kentucky saw over the past four years. For the second game in a row, and the third time in the last five games, Xavier freshman, and University Heights Academy grad KyKy Tandy hit double figures Tuesday night.
Tandy finished the game with 14 points as Xavier picked up a big conference win over DePaul. Tandy finished the game 5 of 7 from the field, including two made three pointers. He added two rebounds and one assist.
It was Tandy’s 2nd straight game with 14 points. He also had 14 back on Saturday in Xavier’s upset win over Seton Hall. On January 22, Tandy finished with 18 points as the Musketeers took down the Georgetown Hoyas.
