Hopkinsville Finishes 2nd at NASP Region Archery

The Henderson County Colonels picked up the National Archery in the Schools Program 2nd Region title Saturday. Henderson outshot Hopkinsville by 78 points to take the regional championship, which was played at The Chase Fulcher Archery Training Center, in Henderson.

Henderson had a team score of 3407, while Hopkinsville finished at 3329. Madisonville finished in third place. The team scores and final rankings were:

5-Webster County – 3258
6-Henderson County #2 – 3170
7-Fort Campbell – 3142

Individually, Henderson’s Ryan Sutton finished in 1st place in the boys competition with a 291 score. Lauren Groves, of Hopkins Cenral was 1st in the girls with a 290.
