The Caldwell County wrestling team placed third in the Region 1 Wrestling Tournament on Saturday at Trigg County High School in Cadiz.
Union County won another team championship while Christian County was second.
The Tiger matmen qualified seven wrestlers for the state tournament, which is set for Feb. 14-15 in Lexington.
