For the second straight year, Caldwell County’s Aaron Ziobro just missed an automatic qualifying spot for the state swim meet. He finished third in the 100-yard freestyle, just .52 seconds out of second place. He missed last year by .05 seconds.
Ziobro could still advance to state his time is among the 32 fastest not included in the automatic qualifiers. Ziobro also finished fifth in the 50 free in 23.39 seconds.
