The Madisonville-North Hopkins state qualifiers made their way to the Lancaster Aquatic Center at the University of Kentucky for the KHSAA state swimming championships on Friday morning.
The relay team of Maci Crowell, Hannah Petitt, Sarah Wortham and Abbie Fair posted a 1:58.90 to take 27th place in the 200 medley relay, 2.42 over their region time. The same group finished 32nd in the 200 freestyle relay, 0.63 over their qualifying time.
Petitt was the Lady Maroons lone individual competitor, finishing 34th in the 100 breaststroke with a 1:10.51.
