Christian County took second place at the Apollo Powerlifting Meet Saturday in Owensboro with nine Colonels winning first place in their class.
Donta Abrens (195), L’Ray Coleman (220), Niko Bussell (235), and Byron Gee (250) all took first place in their weight division.
Jaxon Ford (175) took second with Cameo Gordon (165), Devin Matlock (175), Emarion Davie (185), and Allion Lacy (Heavyweight) all finishing in third place.
Christian County also finished second in the JV division with Anthony Beasley (175), J.T. Adams (185), Antonio Price (195), Dion Wills (220), and Guy Blyth (235) all winning their weight class.
