Lady Wildcats Make Their Mark on the Record Book

The 2019-20 basketball season was one that saw the Trigg County Lady Wildcats make several additions to the record book.

Two Lady Wildcat seniors left their mark in the record book following the conclusion of the season.

Rylee Bush finished with 833 points and 702 rebounds.  Her point total puts her 19th on the all-time scoring list.  She finished 38 points ahead of Calandra Boyd and 14 points behind Felicia Crenshaw.

Her rebounds put her seventh on the all-time list.  She finished four rebounds ahead of TCHS Hall of Famer Pauline White and 48 behind Janay McGill.

Bush also set a new school record with 139 games played in her Lady Wildcat career.  That was 11 more than Lauren Oliver from 2013-18.

Emily Noffsinger hit 48 three-pointers in her TCHS career which places her in a tenth place tie with Samantha Butts on the all-time list.

Freshman Olivia Noffsinger already has 54 career 3-pointers which puts her ninth on the all-time list.  Brooke Kearney has the school record with 185 career treys.

Bush, the Noffsinger sisters, Iyanna Grubbs, and Adri Phillips all set a school record with 34 games played in a season.

Most 3-pointers attempted – 485

Most free throws made – 428

Most free throws attempted – 780

Most rebounds – 1,151

Fewest points allowed in a game – 1 vs. Fort Campbell

 

Trigg’s 1,701 field goal attempts were second-most in a season (1,713 in 1989-90).

Their 108 three-pointers made were second-most in a season (113 in 2010-11).
