Alison Russell graduated from Trigg County in 2016 holding just about every softball pitching record in the program’s history.  She took her skills to Brescia University becoming just the fifth softball player in the school’s history to sign to play in college.

At Brescia, she won four games in the circle in each of her first two seasons and racked up over 200 innings pitched.  She owned 93 career strikeouts when the coronavirus shut down high school and college sports across the nation earlier this month.

Like many seniors, she is frustrated that she won’t finish her softball career on her own terms.  She won’t get a senior night.  She won’t get that final group applause when she walks off the field for the final time.

Alison has kept a positive attitude this spring and lets us in on what’s next for her.
