The University of Kentucky basketball team was expecting the departure of some players for the “green grass” of the NBA. However, Friday afternoon, the Wildcats were hit with a bit of an unexpected announcement.
Johnny Juzang announced via Twitter Friday afternoon that he was placing his name in the NCAA’s transfer portal, and thus would be leaving the University of Kentucky after just one season.
Juzang’s announcement comes in the wake of his playing time increasing down the stretch of the 2019-2020 season.
