With virtually everyone returning from this season’s 18-11 team, Crittenden County’s girls will have their eyes on the regional All A Classic championship next season along with a deep run in the 2nd Region tournament.

Freshman guard Taylor Guess, an all-region performer this year, figures to be one of the 2nd Region’s top players next season after averaging 17.8 points a game this season. Guess also grabbed 6.9 rebounds a night.

Meanwhile, junior Nahla Woodward gave the Lady Rockets an inside presence this season at 9.2 points and a team-best 8.0 boards a contest.

Another freshman guard, Natalie Boone, helps insure Crittenden has a strong backcourt for years to come. Boone tossed in 7.1 points a game while shooting 37.5 percent from 3-point range.

Junior Jaelyn Duncan scored 6.9 points a contest while classmate Chandler Moss added 4.9.

Sophomore Grace Driskell netted 2.5 points a game.

The Lady Rockets went 14-3 over one midseason stretch in 2019-20.

Crittenden’s All A regional run this season fell short in the semifinals with a 49-46 setback to Caldwell County.

In the 5th District tournament at the end of the season, Crittenden defeated Livingston Central 48-35 in the semifinals. However, the Lady Rockets fell to Trigg County in the championship game 48-40.

The Lady Rockets’ season ended with a loss to Madisonville-North Hopkins in the first round of the 2nd Region tournament at Christian County.

With all of its key players returning, Crittenden figures to challenge for the 5th District championship and the All A regional title next year and could make a run at the 2nd Region crown at the end of the season.
