A second boys basketball coach in Warren County has stepped away from his coaching duties. According to a report in the Bowling Green Daily News, South Warren coach Blane Embry announced Tuesday that he was stepping down after two seasons on the job.
Embry’s announcement came not long after the announcement from Bowling Green head coach Nick Clubb.
In the report, Embry stated that his decision was due to his desire to spend more time with his wife, who was diagnosed with lung cancer just before the start of the 2019-2020 season.
During his two years at South Warren, the Spartans went 30-30.
