Trigg County Girls’ Basketball All-Decade Team (2010-20)

Mallory Mize played for Trigg County from 2010-15 and scored 1,211 career points.

With the decade coming to an end on the high school hardwood this month, here is a look at the Trigg County girls’ basketball All-Decade Team comprised of players that played for the Lady Wildcats from 2010-2020.

FIRST FIVE

Lauren Oliver (2013-18) – Oliver played the third most games (128) of any Lady Wildcat, and she is one of only three players in program history with 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.  Oliver scored 1,011 points in her career, currently 14th on the all-time scoring list.  Her 1,197 rebounds are the most in program history.

Mallory Mize (2010-15) – Mize averaged just under 10 points a game during her career, scoring 1,211 points.  She ranks sixth on the all-time list which is 40 points behind Cathy Foster (1994-98) and 18 points ahead of Trigg County Athletic Hall of Famer Pauline White.  Her 437 points in 2013-14 is still the 10th most in the season in the program’s history.  She also owns the school record with 24 free throws made and 30 attempts in a single game.

Brooke Kearney (2010-11) – Brooke graduated as the program’s top sharp-shooter with 185 career 3-pointers made.  Her 72 treys in 2010-11 are second-most for a Lady Wildcat.  That season, she hit a school-record eight 3-pointers against Hopkins County Central. Her 872 career points ranks 17th on the school’s all-time list.

Ashley Matlock (2010-11) – Matlock played three seasons for the Lady Wildcats, scoring 885 points in her career.  She averaged 11.9 points in her career, which is tied for fifth highest among Lady Wildcats who played three or more seasons.

Rylee Bush (2014-20) – Bush played her first game as a seventh grader and set a school record with 139 games played.  She was named to the All-Region Tournament Team in 2019 and was an All-Region selection in 2020.  She finished her career with 833 points (19th all-time) and 702 rebounds (7th all-time).

SECOND FIVE

Taylor Gray (2011-16) – Gray averaged 7.6 points during her senior season and her 10.6 rebounds were among the region leaders.  She pulled down seven rebounds a game as a junior and stands at 16th on the Trigg County career rebounding list with 543.  She played college basketball at Transylvania University after high school.

Adri Phillips (2017-20) – Phillips averaged 9.2 points and six rebounds during her junior season and was named to the All-Region Tournament Team.  Phillips has scored 681 career points entering her senior season and is close to cracking the top 20 list.

Olivia Noffsinger (2018-20) – The freshman led Trigg County in scoring in 2019-20 at 10.1 points a game.  Her 71 steals were tied for the team lead and helped her earn both All-Region and All-Region Tournament Team honors.  Her 54 career 3-pointers already ranks ninth on the program’s all-time list.

Jakashea Martin (2012-16) – Martin overcame a season-ending knee injury during her sophomore season to lead the Lady Wildcats in scoring (11.0) during her senior season.  She was second on the team in scoring (8.8) during her junior season.  Her 37 career 3-pointers ranks 16th in program history.

Alyssa Maxey (2010-12) – Maxey was a two-year starter for the Lady Wildcats and scored in double figures both seasons.  Her 12.7 point average in 2011-12 led the team in scoring.  Maxey’s 784 points ranks her 22nd on the program’s all-time scoring list.
