Caldwell County junior Tate VanHooser set a school record with 10 home runs last season.
However, VanHooser, like all other high school athletes, hasn’t been able to take the field this spring because of the COVID-19 directives.
Still, VanHooser says he and his teammates are still holding out hope that they will eventually get to play.
