The field is now complete for the 2020 West Kentucky Hoops Classic, with the latest team headed to Princeton this winter including a University of Kentucky big-man target.

Tennessee Division II Class A state champion Lausanne Collegiate from Memphis is the 10th and final boys’ team announced for the Dec. 28-29 event at Caldwell County High School.

The Lausanne Lynx went 28-5 this past season. The school also won state titles in 2013 and 2017.

Lausanne 6-10 center Moussa Cisse is the No. 8-ranked college basketball prospect in the country for the Class of 2021 and the top-ranked prospect in the Volunteer State.

Cisse averaged 21.3 points, 14 rebounds and 8.6 blocks after transferring to the Memphis school from Christ the King Regional in Queens, New York.

Cisse received the Tennessee Div. II Class A Mr. Basketball award last month.

The five-star center also announced his top-10 college choices this week. Memphis and Kentucky head the list, which also includes Southern California, Georgetown, Florida State, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, LSU and Illinois.

Besides Lausanna Collegiate, other boys’ teams playing in the 2020 West Kentucky Hoops Classic will be the Lee Generals from Montgomery, Ala.; the Pontotoc Warriors from Mississippi; the Bartlett Panthers from near Memphis; the Independence Patriots of Charlotte, N.C.; the Huffman Vikings from Birmingham, Ala.; the Ridge View Blazers of Columbia, S.C.; and three Tiger teams from the Bluegrass state — Fern Creek, Murray and host Caldwell County.

The Hoops Classic will also feature four girls’ teams, which were all announced earlier — host Caldwell County, Lyon County, Madisonville-North Hopkins and Mayfield.

The annual event features 14 games over two days and is a fundraiser for the Caldwell County High School athletic department.
