Here are the top 10 Hopkins County Central Lady Storm players from the last 10 years (2010-11 season through this past season).

Here is the first team:

Keke Ikeard — Ikeard was the first girl to score 1,000 points at Hopkins Central. She finished her high school career with over 1,150 points and more than 860 rebounds. Ikeard was selected to the All-2nd Region Team in both 2018 and 2019. She was a freshman on the basketball team at Georgetown College this past season.

Asia White — White was named to the coaches’ All-2nd Region Team in 2015 after scoring 15.1 points a game and grabbing 7.0 rebounds while leading Hopkins Central to a 20-12 record. White was a four-time All-7th District selection — 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Talana Hardy — Hardy averaged a double-double as a senior, scoring 12.1 points and grabbing 10.5 rebounds for the Lady Storm in the 2016-17 season. She was named to the All-2nd Region Team that year. As a junior, Hardy averaged 11.3 points and 9.7 rebounds. She finished her prep career with over 800 points and more than 700 rebounds.

Makayla Campbell — Campbell led the Lady Storm with 15.3 point a game while leading Hopkins Central to an 18-15 record in the 2015-16 season. Campbell set school records in December 2015 when she scored 38 points and made nine 3-pointers in a win over Franklin-Simpson. Campbell was named to the 2016 All-2nd Region Team.

Lyric Campbell — Campbell was chosen for the coaches association’s All-2nd Region Team as a senior in the 2015-16 season. She averaged 11.6 points a game that season. As a junior the previous season, she was second on the Lady Storm in scoring at 9.7 points a contest.

Here is the second team:

Madison Grigg — Grigg led the Lady Storm in scoring this past season at 12.2 points a game and was named to the All-2nd Region Team. Grigg, a junior, has almost 600 career points. She has twice been named to the All-7th District Team.

Rickara Hughes — Hughes was named to the All-7th District Team in both 2016 and 2017. She averaged 8.1 points a game as a senior in the 2016-17 season. She went on to play college basketball at Lindsey Wilson.

Lacara Campbell — Campbell was selected to the All-7th District Team in 2015. As a senior in the 2014-15 campaign, she scored 9.6 points and grabbed 7.3 rebounds a contest as the Lady Storm went 20-12.

Ja’Leigh Smith — Smith was an All-7th District Team selection in 2012 and 2013.

Taylor Howerton — Howerton was named to the All-7th District Team in both 2011 and 2012. She went on to play college golf at Indiana University and the University of Southern Indiana.
