Ten days after announcing he was leaving Purdue, former Christian County Colonel Kenneth “Coco” Major has landed at Middle Tennessee State University.  Major announced his commitment on social media Monday.

Major started 16 games for the Boilermakers in the 2018-19 seasons and played in 24 games. He redshirted in 2017 after being part of Jeff Brohm’s first recruiting class. He originally committed to Western Kentucky before following Brohm to West Lafayette.  Major had a combined 79 tackles the past two seasons and recorded a team-high three interceptions as a redshirt freshman in 2018.

Major will have to sit out the 2020 season due to NCAA transfer rules unless he receives a waiver to play.

Middle Tennessee State was 4-8 last year that included losses to Power Five schools Michigan, Duke, and Iowa.
