The Caldwell County Tigers have had two former players commit to play college basketball in the last two days.

On Friday, recent CCHS grad Adarius Riley announced on social media that he will be playing basketball at the other end of the commonwealth.

“110% committed to The University of Pikeville! Let’s get it!” Riley wrote.

Riley led the Tigers in scoring as a senior, putting up 13.1 points a game for a balanced Caldwell squad that finished with a 16-16 record.

Riley shot 54.7 percent from the field, including 37 percent from 3-point range. He connected on 74.2 percent of his free throws.

The UPike Bears went 20-11 last season, losing to the University of the Cumberlands 76-73 in overtime in the Mid-South Conference championship game.
