Four athletes from Dawson Springs High School have been named KHSAA Triple Threat Award which recognizes athletes who play three or more sports during the school year in the spring, winter, and fall seasons.

The Dawson Springs winners were:

Ivory Tackett – Cross Country, Cheerleading, Track and Field
Brylee Spurlin – Golf, Basketball, Track and Field
Landon Smiley – Golf, Basketball, Track and Field
Kimberly Hoover – Cross Country, Basketball, Track and Field

The triple threat program was launched in May of 2018 in an effort to de-emphasize sports specialization in the athletic culture, according to the KHSAA.
