A six run first inning was too much for the Kentucky Prospects 16U to recover from Sunday in Memphis. The Prospects 16U lost for the first time this summer, falling to the Memphis Tigers 15U 7-3.
Lyon County’s Jackson Shoulders had a good day at the plate, going 2-3 with a double and an RBI. Gunnar Bingham was 1-4, with a triple and a run scored. Fellow Lyon Brody Williams ended the contest 1-3.
Caldwell County’s Logan Smiley finished the game 1-3.
Shoulders saw one inning of action on the mound for the Prospects.
The Prospects 16U finished the week 3-1.
