Playing at the University Club of Paducah, Lyon County golfer Cathryn Brown had an up and down weekend but managed a 15th place finish at the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour stop over the weekend.
Brown shot an opening round of 80 which included a birdie and nine pars. She improved three shots Sunday and came in with a round of 77, including birdies on two of her final three holes. Brown finished the tourney at 15-over.
Belmont signee Delia Gibbs, who played at Lexington Christian, had eight birdies in her final round Sunday and won the tournament by seven shots with a two-day total of 4-under.
