A member of the Marshall County Lady Marshals softball team had a hot weekend at the plate to help her summer travel team. Junior Charley Pursley totalled 10 hits in five games as the Louisville Lady Sluggers ’03 16U team finished the weekend at 2-2-1.
Batting leadoff for the Lady Sluggers ’03 16U, Pursley hit 10 singles, scored 9 runs, earned one walk, and drove in 10 runs.
The team is set to play in the Colorado Sparkler tournament, which has been relocated to Chattanooga for this summer.
