AUDIO – Madisonville’s J.J. Brown on Heading Off to Arizona

It will be a different sophomore season for Madisonville’s J.J. Brown, but potentially one filled with new experiences and some valuable instruction on the pitch. As reported previously on YSE, Brown will be spending his sophomore season playing soccer for the Barca Academy 16U team, which is based in Casa Grande, Arizona.

He will he living in a dorm style setting attending Arizona State University prep on the Barca campus while he plays for the academy team.

Brown will be leaving for Arizona at the end of July.

During a telephone interview with YourSportsEdge.Com, Brown spoke about the opportunity, missing his Maroon teammates during the 2020 season, and being that far from home.
