Logan County sophomore Abby-Grace Forbes broke through with a 1st-place finish at the Go Series Golf Tour stop at Rolling Hills Golf Course in Russellville on Wednesday.
After three top-five performances in the Bluegrass Tour, including a pair of runners-up, Forbes topped UHA’s Conlee Lindsey by one stroke to win the girls’ 13-15 division with an 88. Forbes was in second after 9 holes with a 48, but turned in a 40 on the back to earn the victory.
