Hannah Sumner shook off a sluggish front nine to shoot even par on the back nine and take first place Tuesday at the GO Junior Golf Series stop at Kenny Perry’s Country Creek Course in Franklin.
The Christian County alum shot an 8-over 44 on the front nine but fired an even-par 36 on the back nine to finish with a round of 80. She was five shots better than second-place Holly Holton of Daviess County in the 16-18 age division.
