Todd County Central sophomore Jase Hampton tied for seventh place Sunday at the Marshall Strong Classic Sunday at the Calvert City Country Club.
Hampton had two birdies in his first-round 82 on Saturday and followed Sunday with an 88. He was especially strong on the Par 3s where his two day total was 4-over. He finished 13 shots behind the winner, Colin Smith of Indian Mound, Tennessee who won the Kentucky Junior PGA event with a score of 13-over.
