Caldwell’s Holt & Trigg’s Jordan Win Football Fan Faves

Caldwell County and Trigg County took the winner and runner-up position in this year’s YourSportsEdge.Com/First Financial Bank Football “Fan Faves.”

Caldwell County’s Ben Holt was the top vote getter this year. Holt led the Caldwell defense with 116 total tackles while helping the Tigers go 8-3 in 2019. He had three sacks and a team-high 22 tackles for loss. Holt, a senior, added an interception and a fumble recovery to his defensive numbers this past season.

Trigg County’s Cam Jordan finished as the runner-up. Jordan threw for 1,857 yards and 21 TDs while rushing for 623 yards and 18 scores in 2019. He was named All-Western Kentucky Conference and the Kentucky Coaches’ Class 3A District 1 Player of the Year. Jordan finished second on Trigg’s all-time passing list with 4,400 yards. In three seasons as quarterback, Jordan accounted for 87 total touchdowns. He will play college football at the U.S. Naval Academy.
