Caldwell County and Lyon County took the winner and runner-up positions in the 2020 YourSportsEdge.Com/First Financial Bank Boys Basketball “Fan Faves.”

Caldwell County’s Adarius Riley claimed the top spot in this year’s voting. Riley stepped up his senior year to lead the Tigers in points (13.1 per game), field goal percentage (54.7%), and free throw percentage (74.2%), and scored 29 in the Tigers’ season-ending loss to Lyon County in the regional tournament. He was named to the All-7th District, All-Region, and Region All-Tournament team to cap his career in Princeton.

Lyon County’s Travis Perry finished in the runner-up slot. Only an 8th grader, Perry paced the region in scoring at 26.6 per game, second statewide. He knocked down a region-high 83 3-pointers and was ninth in the region at just under 38% from behind the arc. He helped the Lyons to a 23-10 record and a 5th-District title, and posted 30 points in a region-tourney win over Caldwell County. Perry was named to the All-District, All-Region, and Region All-Tournament team, while being listed in the Next 25 players in the state regardless of class in Rick Bolus’ High Potential Recruiting Service.
