Caldwell County and Hopkinsville took the winner and runner-up positions in the 2020 YourSportsEdge.Com/First Financial Bank Boys Swimming “Fan Faves.”
Caldwell County’s Aaron Ziobro finished as the top vote getter this year. Caldwell County’s lone swimmer capped off his swim career with a trip to the state meet in 2020. He finished third at region in the 100 free and finished fifth in the 50 free. At the state meet, Ziobro was 28th in the 50 free and 31st in the 100 free as he etched his name into the Caldwell County record books.
Hopkinsville’s Bryce Robinson was the 2020 runner-up. Robinson finished his Hopkinsville swim career in style with an appearance at the state swim meet. After finishing second at region in the 50 free and third in the 100 breast, he took 33rd at state in the 50 free and 34th in the 100 breast. Robinson was also part of the 400 free relay that came from behind to win the region title.
