Lyon County’s Austin Long threw a seven-inning perfect game Thursday in Atlanta for the SI Prospect 2021 17U team at the Perfect Game Wood Bat National Championships.
The game against the JCB Tigers ended in a 0-0 tie.
Long struck out eight while throwing only 73 pitches.
He also had one of his squad’s four hits, going 1-for-2 at the plate.
