A big effort Saturday for a Trigg County baseball player. Arlon Butts had two solid games for the SI Legends 18U, as the Legends picked up a pair of wins.
In the opening game of the day, the Legends won 15-0 over the Hardin County Cougars. Arlon Butts finished the game 2-3. He had two doubles, two RBIs, and two runs scored in the win.
The second game of the day Saturday saw the SI Legends 18U come away with a 6-2 win over Central Illinois elite. Butts ended up going 1-2. He hit his 3rd double of the day, and drove in two more runs.
Butts finished the day 3-5, with three doubles and 4 RBI’s.
